In this role you’ll provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to the wider finance team, oversee and manage any revenue risks and opportunities through appropriate financial reporting channels and business partnership, recommend mitigation strategies where revenue gaps and risks appear, provide monthly reporting packs to the Executive Leadership team and other key stakeholders across the business, and facilitate and deliver a consolidated financial view of all operating companies across the business.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the FP&A function with the production of key analysis, statistics and commercial narrative on a weekly and monthly basis, maintaining a strong control environment - collaborating with other finance colleagues across all Sage entities, as appropriate, to ensure that statutory reporting requirements are met, and you’ll ensure that appropriate tax mechanisms are in place for corporate tax, VAT, and cross territory trading working.
You’ll need to build strong relationships across both Group and European Finance teams to leverage best practice and ensure that Sage Pay comply with all internal requirements
To be successful, you’ll need excellent financial and management accounting experience, an ACA or ACCA qualification, familiarity with MS packages and ERPs - ideally Sage and Hyperion but this is not essential, and some previous exposure to people management and leadership accountabilities.
Some experience of working within a volume processes and subscription environment, ideally within payments, telecommunications or ecommerce would be advantageous and some pan European experience would also be desirable.
In return, we can offer you the opportunity to work in a fantastic environment with a market leader, a challenging role which could potentially become a permanent opportunity, and all the benefits you’d associate with being part of a FTSE 100 company.
If this sounds like the role for you – we’d love to hear from you!
