We’ve got an amazing opportunity for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our office in Dun Laoghaire.
The IT Support Desk is about is mainly concerned with providing technical support across enterprise systems, to other departments in Sage Pay both in dealing reactively with issues that arise as well as proactively managing change and improvement.
We are looking for somebody who will be responsible for ensuring backup processes are followed, disaster recovery processes are tested and for the on-going database admin in production environment.
You will also be providing 1st line Desktop and Enterprise support to meet the delivery of service levels across business departments and working with the team to develop and implement best practice, knowledge transfer and identify lessons learned to help meet departmental objectives.
The successful candidate must have significant working knowledge of Windows Environment (PC’s and Servers) and has proven experience of access, event, problem and incident management in a 24/7 – 365 days a year IT environment. You must also have experience/knowledge of databases, particularly MS SQL Server 2005/2008R2/2012 and familiar with virtualisation technologies such as Citrix, VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V.
