Technical Recruitment Partner

We’re building something special at Sage Pay; a business that has the potential to set new standards in payments across Europe by providing an experience that competitors can’t come close to.

Right now, we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Recruitment Partner in our Central London office to assist in recruiting the talent to help get us there.

This is a 360° role reporting into the Recruitment Manager where you’ll manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing strategy through to on-boarding for the technology group and our Ireland office.

You’ll work with the business to define resource requirements and role design, recommend traditional and innovative sourcing strategies, develop and manage third party relationships, create and manage talent pools, ensure that selection criteria are clearly outlined and appropriate assessment techniques are selected and used, and manage the on-boarding process for each candidate, always providing an experience you can be proud of!

Managing the graduate programme will also be an important part of this role; from forming and developing relationships with local universities through to building out technical development & career plans with HR, so expertise in this area is essential.

The Technical Recruitment Partner will be someone who understands the competitive landscape, trends in the recruitment industry, and the impact that the local technical labour market may have upon timescales. There’ll be the expectation to attend external conferences and events to learn about best practice methods, next generational sourcing strategies, and developments around candidate assessment and you’ll work closely with the Recruitment Manager on continuous improvement plans, proving creativity and challenging the status quo.

You’ll be commercially focused, with experience in managing the 360° recruitment cycle within a technology function; ideally within the payments industry. Some experience of recruiting across European locations; Ireland/Spain/Germany for example would also be highly beneficial.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to demonstrate strong organisational and time-management skills, the ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and influence decision-makers, and have an analytical mind that can provide insight and find root causes to problems.

We only employ people who can demonstrate real passion about what they do. We encourage them to express their personalities and empower them to make decisions, enabling them to deliver results and provide an extraordinary service to internal and external customers alike.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced challenging environment with a dynamic team.
